Step 1: Prepare Your Documents

Before starting the application, gather the following necessary documents:

  • Registered Deed: A copy of the land deed reflecting the transfer of ownership.
  • Khatian Details: Information about the khatian number(s) associated with the property.
  • Legal Heir Certificate: Required for inheritance cases.

Step 2: Login or Signup

  1. Log In (Existing Users): If you already have an account, log in RTPS Bihar with your mobile number.
  2. New User Registration:
    • Click “Registration” and enter your mobile number to receive an OTP for verification.
    • Fill in Required Details: Enter your Name, Aadhaar No., Mobile, and Address.
    • Complete Captcha Verification and set a secure password to finalize your registration

Step 3: Complete the Application

  • Navigate to Services: Go to Citizen Services and select Online Application.
  • Choose Mutation Application: Select Mutation Application from the available options.
  • Select District and Mouza: Choose your district and relevant mouza.
  • Applicant Type: Set your applicant type to “Self.”
  • Khatian Number: Indicate if you have a khatian number.
  • Transfer Type: Specify the mode of transfer and registration office.

Step 4: Gather Required Documents

Before starting the application, ensure you have the following documents ready:

  • Sale deed or transfer deed (if applicable)
  • Death certificate (in case of inheritance)
  • Self-attested Aadhaar copy of the applicant
  • Land possession proof (e.g., Jamabandi record)
  • Identity proof (if needed)
  • Affidavit or consent letters from previous owners or family members (if required)

  • Review Application: Double-check all details for accuracy.
  • Submit Application: Click Submit to finalize your application.
