Welcome to the RTPS Bihar portal! To get started with managing your e-services, you need to create an RTPS account. Follow the steps below to complete the registration process:
If you want to create RTPS account, log in, reset your password, check application status, download certificates, or apply for other services, click the button below to access the portal’s home page.
Locate and click the “Register Now” button below to initiate the account creation process.
A new window will open where you need to first scroll down and click on Sign up for MeriPehchaan then provide the following information:
Full Name: Enter your full name as per your official documents.
Email ID: Provide a working email address.
Mobile Number: Enter a mobile number that you will use for OTP verification. This mobile number should match the one provided in the email ID field.
Password: Create a secure password for your account.
Select Bihar as your state from the dropdown menu.
After filling in the required information, click the submit button. You will receive an OTP (One-Time Password) on your mobile and email. The OTP is valid for 15 minutes, so ensure to enter it promptly.

Choose Your State
Select Bihar as your state from the dropdown menu.

Note: OTPs may sometimes be delayed due to heavy traffic on the website. Please be patient if you do not receive it immediately.
Log In to Your Account
Once your OTP is verified, you can log in to your RTPS account using your email ID and password.
Ensure you are using the latest version of your browser (Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome).
Make sure pop-ups are enabled in your browser. For Google Chrome, go to “Settings” > “Privacy and Security” > “Site Settings” > “Pop-ups and redirects” and enable pop-ups. For Mozilla Firefox, follow similar steps to allow pop-ups.
Additional Tips
Clear Browser History: Before applying for any service, clear your browser history to avoid potential issues.
Name in Hindi: When applying for services, enter your name in Hindi. The portal will automatically convert your English name to Hindi when you press space.
Online Service Application
All services can be applied for online. You do not need to visit any service center. After submitting your application, you will receive a link to download your document via email or mobile, or you can download it directly from the portal after logging in.
