Check RTPS Bihar Application Status

If you’ve applied online for Jaati Pramaan Patr, Income Certificates, or Residential Certificates via the RTPS Bihar Portal, you can easily track your application status. Whether approved, pending, or rejected, the portal provides transparency by allowing you to check real-time updates and even download your certificate if approved.

Check via SMS

To check the status of your application, simply send an SMS in the following format:

RTPS <Application ID>
Send this SMS to 56060.
You will receive a reply with the current status of your application.

Steps to Check Status Online

Follow these steps to track your application status on the RTPS Bihar Portal:

  1. Click “Track Status Now”: Use the button below, which opens the status-checking page in a new window.
  2. Enter Application Details:
    • Select “Through Application Reference Number.”
    • Enter your Application Reference Number (you received this during the application process).
    • Provide the date of submission, as mentioned on your reference number receipt.
    • Type the CAPTCHA code shown on the screen.
    • Click Submit to proceed.
  3. View or Download Your Certificate:
    • If approved, an option to download your certificate (e.g., Caste Certificate, Income Certificate) will appear.
    • Click the respective link, and the certificate will download as a PDF.
  4. Check the Reason for Rejection (if applicable):
    • For rejected applications, view detailed reasons (e.g., missing documents like Aadhaar card).
    • Click “View” next to the rejected application for additional information.
